“Whenever you have a collision sport like football, it’s inevitable something’s going to happen because you are contacting other athletes at high impact,” said Dr. Alexis Chiang Colvin, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at New York’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine. “I don’t think it’s unusual that any of those injuries happened.
